Artist/producer Petite Noir and producer Kingdom have teamed up to release a double single ‘CoeurWorld’, which consists of ‘Alive’ and ‘Through The Bad Times’. Both tracks are a visceral and raw journey inwards, although for us, b-side ‘Through The Bad Times’ leaves a greater impact on the listener. Built around sparse, echoey percussion and dry synths, it’s the darker textures that have us listening in closer. The minimalism allows Petite Noir’s emotive vocal performance, which is barely touched beyond the recording. Describing their collaborative work as noirwave, Petite Noir goes on to say that "CoeurWorld is an EP dedicated to sending love out to the world during these trying times." - Hannah Thacker
